How It Works

Secret Match isn't a swiping app. It's a quiet introduction service.

Here's exactly what happens from the moment you join:

1. Sign up with WhatsApp

No email, no separate app to download. You register using your WhatsApp number, and that's how we'll reach you.

2. Build your profile

Tell us who you are — your details, what you're looking for, and upload a face photo. A profile without a photo won't be considered for matching, so this step matters.

3. Set your preferences — and how strict you want us to be

You tell us what you're looking for: age range, height, background, lifestyle, and more. You also choose your Match Sensitivity — how close a match needs to be before we bother you about it. Prefer only near-perfect matches? Set it to 100%. Happy to hear about looser matches too? Set it lower. It's entirely your call, and you can change it anytime.

4. We quietly do the matching in the background

There's no browsing, no feed, no swiping through strangers. Our matching runs on its own schedule, comparing your preferences against everyone else's real profile — not the other way around, and not both people's preferences forced to agree. If someone genuinely fits what you're looking for, that's enough for you to hear about it, even if you weren't necessarily their top pick. Matching isn't guesswork either — some things, like the sex you're looking for, are treated as non-negotiable, never averaged away by other criteria matching well.

5. We notify you on WhatsApp

When a match is found, you'll get a WhatsApp message with a link. Tap it, and you'll see your match's photo, a short bio, and a percentage showing how well they meet your preferences — without us revealing their private preferences to you, or yours to them.

6. Request contact, if you're interested

Like what you see? Tap Request Contact. This uses a small number of credits. The other person gets notified and can choose to accept or decline — quietly, with no pressure either way.

7. If they accept, you're connected instantly

No exchanging numbers, no copying anything down. Both of you get a direct WhatsApp link to message each other immediately.

8. If they decline, you're refunded automatically

No hard feelings, no wasted credits. If a request isn't accepted — or simply times out without a response — your credits are returned to your account without you having to ask.

Credits, simply explained: credits are the currency you use to request contact. You load credits via EFT or Capitec PayMe, and 1 credit costs whatever the current listed rate is on the Load Credits page. Requesting contact costs a small number of credits; if the person accepts, that's it — no further charges to keep talking, since from that point you're simply messaging each other on WhatsApp directly, outside our platform entirely.
Invite friends, earn credits

Share your personal invite link. When someone joins using it, you earn free credits — more for your first successful invite, and a smaller bonus for every one after that.
