Secret Match is a facilitation platform, not a matchmaking guarantee. We use a preference-based matching process to suggest potential connections. We do not guarantee that you will be matched with anyone, that any match will lead to contact, or that any contact will lead to a relationship, friendship, or any particular outcome.
We do not conduct background checks. We do not verify the identity, criminal history, marital status, employment status, or any other claim made by any member beyond what is required to register (a valid WhatsApp number and profile information the member chooses to provide). Everything a member tells us about themselves is self-reported and not independently verified by us.
Your safety is your responsibility. If you choose to meet someone you've connected with through Secret Match, you do so entirely at your own risk. We strongly recommend:
- Meeting for the first time in a public place
- Telling a friend or family member where you're going and who you're meeting
- Video calling before meeting in person, where possible
- Trusting your instincts — if something feels wrong, it's okay to stop contact at any point
We are not liable for the conduct of any member. Secret Match is not responsible for the actions, statements, or conduct of any member, whether on the platform, over WhatsApp, or in person. This includes but is not limited to harassment, dishonesty, fraud, or any harm arising from contact made through the platform.
Third-party services. Secret Match relies on WhatsApp (operated by Meta) for notifications and messaging, and on banking/payment providers for credit loading. We are not responsible for outages, delays, or issues caused by these third-party services being unavailable, changing their terms, or discontinuing service.
No professional advice. Nothing on Secret Match constitutes legal, financial, medical, or psychological advice.
Age requirement. Secret Match is strictly for individuals 18 years of age or older. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Financial disclaimer. Credits loaded onto Secret Match are used to request contact with other members. Credits are generally non-refundable once spent, except where a contact request is declined or expires unanswered, in which case the credit is automatically returned to your balance.
